 For a professional finish on your solder seams:

1.       After soldering, wash off flux residue.

2.       Brush solder seams with fine (000) steel wool to remove stubborn oxidation (optional). Brush or vacuum off steel wool dust.

3.       If desired, apply patina and wipe dry and neutralize/wash off patina residue.

4.       Apply a small amount of Clarity Stained Glass Polish and spread a thin coat evenly over glass and metal. Rub lightly along seams to ensure a bright, even finish. Let dry to haze and buff to a high shine. A hair dryer may be helpful to accelerate the drying of the polish in humid or cold conditions.

To restore the shine to tarnished finishes:

Apply Clarity Stained Glass Polish as in step #4 above and rub along tarnished seams until desired shine is achieved. Let dry to a haze and buff.
